How to tell what is liposuction in a non medical term?

Sometime ago a friend mine asked, "Can you tell me what Liposuction is?"
I didn't mean to look down her, but the fact is she was a bit slow in catching something. In a bid to help her getting the picture I kind of used what ever things that is in front of me (we were having lunch on that moment). I put some ice cube in an empty glass, crushed it with a spoon into small pieces and enjoy it every sip with a straw while she's watching every details.

I asked her to imagine the ice cube was a bad fat that need to be suck out of the body, and the thing that sucking the crushed ice was a liposuction procedure.
