Three Common Liposuction Procedure

Liposuction procedure improve body contours and proportion, and enhancing self confidence. Disproportionate contours due to localized fat deposits can be seen on the thighs area, hips and buttocks, upper arms, abdomen and waist area.

Three common variations to the liposuction procedure:
  • Traditional liposuction - surgical suctioning of excess fat deposits
  • Super-wet technique - requires an infusion of saline solution with adrenaline and possibly anesthetic prior to removal of excess fat
  • Ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty - uses ultrasonic energy to liquefy excess fat prior to surgical suctioning

Suck The Fat Out With Liposuction

How to tell what is liposuction in a non medical term?

Sometime ago a friend mine asked, "Can you tell me what Liposuction is?"
I didn't mean to look down her, but the fact is she was a bit slow in catching something. In a bid to help her getting the picture I kind of used what ever things that is in front of me (we were having lunch on that moment). I put some ice cube in an empty glass, crushed it with a spoon into small pieces and enjoy it every sip with a straw while she's watching every details.

I asked her to imagine the ice cube was a bad fat that need to be suck out of the body, and the thing that sucking the crushed ice was a liposuction procedure.
She said,"eeyaak... that was a disgusting way of demonstrating a liposuction."
Well.. my liposuction surgery story tell ending was not bad at all, friend of mine got to learn some surgery procedure plus a big laugh.

What is Liposuction anyway?
It is a surgical procedure to remove unwanted fat from the body with the use of a vacuum-suction cannula or using ultrasonic probe that breaks up the fat into small pieces and then get it suck out with a suction. This surgical procedure are actually done to shape the body but many people tend to use it as a way to loose weight, which is not the original idea.
